Aboriginal Engagement

At Pioneer Construction, we understand that our greatest resource is people. The diversity and knowledge of our labour force is key to our continued growth in the North. We proudly partner with Aboriginal communities to foster the coordination of human and natural resources for a stronger today and sustainable tomorrow.

Pioneer Construction is committed to working with First Nation communities to help build a stronger Northern Ontario.
Three out of the top five major aboriginal urban populations in Ontario are located in the North, so creating meaningful, long lasting relationships with our indigenous partners is an essential business practice at Pioneer Construction.

Working together for a stronger today and more sustainable tomorrow

William Crowe, Manager of Aboriginal Community Engagement, meets regularly with indigenous community leaders to discuss partnership and training opportunities. Pioneer Construction recognizes the value in collaboration and the benefits of training First Nation residents to create economic independence while strengthening entrepreneurial ventures. Pioneer Construction makes cultural training opportunities available to its employees and contractors to prepare them for a culturally diverse work environment.
